Problem with rotu

Hey guys
I know that im new here and know that u starting from everything new ( and the inside problems like in every clan ) so im sorry that im taking ur time. But i love rotu and yours rotu is perfect in terms of amount zombie, number of waves and etc. is ok with 1 problem, when u just playing in sometime the game crush many times. Find a time to do something with rotu then rotu gonna be perfect ^^

5 minutes ago i was playing with 4 ppl on rotu final wave and game crushed to other map. If u not gonna repair this problem on rotu, u not gonna have a regular players on server, after this game today i wonder if those players gonna come back. Server need to get restarted again .

Hi Hellen. and welcome to the Forum,

I am glad you like our ROTU server, it is probably the only reason a few of us stayed active and brought the game servers back online. I agree it is a lot of fun.

The mod itself is unfortunately a little bugged, I have gone through the logs a few times and fixed things, but sounds like there are more Not sure exactly what the root cause was but I will check and see if we can put some additional error handling around that problem code. Sometimes too many players with death machine blazing caused problems, but not sure that is still the issue.

Be patient, I will work on it, and look forward to seeing you in ROTU !!

I will go through the logs, always happened as part of the waypoints calculations... I did get a lua waypoints plug in for cod4 but that too seemed to have some problems...

Were you guys using DM at this time ? or earlier ? I saw 2 cases of some lag.... both suspiciously around either a b3 status check or message being written.

It's funny... I always thought if I could get a look at the logs that maybe we could fix it... now that I have terra bytes of logs, don't feel further along.

I'm going to reach out to the cod4x server folks and see if we can get some guidance on building a version with enhanced logging to help determine the problem

Well, I am pleased to say that I think the problem with the mod has been solved. We have been running for about a week on a custom compile of cod4x server which disabled the heavy logging of errors.

Yesterday we had ~2500 zombies in the finale and game was stable !

Anyone up for a challenge to try and break him ?
